A BABE A DAY + Daliy moans

Local elections + a Babe

Great weather today in the UK, but the forecast for the weekend is not so hot!

I am in a bad mood today, I know not why, I just feel frustrated and irritable. Maybe because I was quite happy earlier this week and need to balance my Yin with my Yan – again I know not why.

Yet again (2 days in succession) I have nothing much to say. Sorting out affiliate programs for one of my websites is frustrating, particularly trying to get a descent villa rental company and Tony Blair is still alive – always bad news.

Local election results, through today, show the British National Party getting seats in the councils. In the rest of Europe this would seem normal, but here in the UK the word “national” cannot be used without racial and cultural undertones – thank God some people decided to make a visible protest to this absurdity and vote for them. Personally I voted Conservative, not because I support the party, but because the local member, 1. lives in the area (non of the other prospects did) and 2. campaigned on local issues – that is what councils should be concerned about. Naturally, he was not successful!

Here is the babe. Personally she does nothing for me, but most other people like her – at least when she stops crying.

Nothing but a babe

Nothing much to say today, so here is the babe.

Actually TV drama Lost started its second series in the UK on Tuesday and had more happening in the first 2 episodes than the entire first series. Just as well as I would have stopped watching it had something not started to happen.

Amazing also that putting in a search for babes in bikini’s actually produces an image search of just the opposite.

The idiots who spam other peoples blogs

There is a prat (in fact probably more than one) who keeps adding "so called comments" to blogs that are nothing more than a list of urls' to dozens of other sites.

I don't know how stupid, moronic and thick this idiot is, but if he thinks that doing that helps optimise the sites he is trying to promote, he is in for a well deserved shock. If you read this TWAT HEAD, follow it by looking at google's tips for webmasters. You might then stop pretending to be a webmaster and actually learn something you can actively use. You will also find out that what you are doing will damage your site and not promote it. Hopefully googles cache of these "nasties" should keep your site in their stotlight, and affected by filters, for a good 8 to 12 months.

To other readers, my appologies, but I am no longer allowing comments on this blog - thank to some TWAT trying to sell car cover (I avoid the words he would like me to use) .

Why does blogeasy not spot this kind of addition and either block it, or delete it - it is easy to do - I could write the code myself at a push!

Galicia hotels, Beetle and New Tricks

The VW beetle convertible goes back today. After my initial disappointment I really liked that car and will miss it. It goes to auction and is expected to fetch between £9K and £11K later this week. It was crème with a black roof and is a 2004 model.

New Tricks was on TV last night and continues to offer high quality TV, with great acting, novel but clever plots and a few good laughs thrown in. If you have never seen it, I recommend it (which I hardly ever do for any TV). It is on at 9.00pm on Mondays on BBC1.

I woke up in the most unpleasant manner this morning – the stomach churning Will Young was on the radio. I promptly turned it off, but no longer felt like eating any breakfast.

On a different tack, one of the sites about Galicia that I webmaster has just taken its first hotel booking which is quite pleasing as it was made only hours after the hotels were added. I have still yet to find suitable partners for villa rental and it looks like I may be forced to contact individual owners directly.

Her is the babe for today

Sincce my last post included no babe, this one will omitt my usual ramblings, except that is for a mention of hotels in Galicia.

VW Beetle, Prescott and Galicia

We have had a VW Beetle for the bank holiday weekend - a convertible (as advertised in the USA with my favourite song by my favourite band). At first I was not so keen, but with some sunny weather and time to get used to it I am impressed, it is a great little car and I want one, only hard top, all the toys and in blue. Unfortunately, I want rarely gets and I doubt I will have one any time soon!

John Prescott has finally been “outed” as a philanderer by his “bit on the side and not before time. I wonder if the press should also ask similar questions of Kenneth Clark’s former secretary in respect of the bloated and expansively headed Prescott. Prescott still make me laugh whenever I think of the egg incident and the wimpiest punch I have ever seen delivered (by him to his assailant).

Sorry, but time restriction mean that I will simply mention Galicia and Muros and for once neglect to add a pic of a babe.

A really hot babe - Spain Galicia

Just had NTL connect my mother (her house that is) up with broadband. What a contrast between their efficient service and my own experiences with BT and Tiscali.

Two fitters arrived today at the arranged time (2 days after the booking was made), connected the upstairs room in question by taking the cable up the outside wall and then drilling through. They were clean, quick and connected up the modem leaving it all set on the table by the computer. I installed the software (with free virus check) and all was up and running super fast. The charge! All free and the monthly (unlimited) rental just under £10. We pay £14 per month, had no connection, no extension cable from the BT box and the bloody thing does not work properly 6 month and numerous phone calls and emails later.

But enough of that, here is the Babe, she was No1 in a yahoo search for “hot babe” and she certainly fits the bill.

A mention for Galicia in spain to help my opt'ming!

Todays Babe, an email and Galicia, Spain

After a few days of our broadband working again, it is now back to the status quo. British Telecom could find no fault with the line and, even though it disconnected during their check, the readouts showed that all was fine. It is paramount to an X-ray of a one legged man showing up the skeletal structure of 2 legs and believing it. The engineer who ran the tests was a broadband specialist, but unfortunately chose to believe the readouts on a laptop over his own eyes and ears.

I have had a couple of (to me) mysterious emails from someone. They ask simple questions about a town in Galicia that I write about, but in abbreviated text language. One of the abbreviations was “KIKI”, which means nothing to me and the messages are short and without the usual pleasantries or explanations behind the questions – I am responding in kind.

Finally my lack of excitement over holiday plans continues. This time I had a dream that I had returned from this years vacation and that the experience was anything but memorable! I may need psychiatric help if this obsession with having a disappointing holiday in Galicia continues.

Finally the babe for today.

Galicia - (Second post of the day) + babe

Here is the 2nd babe of the day and she is hot……………

I already posted what I wanted to say this morning, so this entry is pure promotion for one of my websites. The site in question is Galicia Guide (link to the right) and it is a tourist information source for anything to do with Galicia. It has sections on Pontevedra, la Coruna, Santiago de compostela and many other locations in the area. It also offers info. On hotels, property in Galicia and car rental and flights.

No more naked babes

For those who did not pick up on it, my “oriental babe” posting of a couple of days ago was the first topless pic I have included and it followed a photo of a “male to female” transsexual of the week before. Normal service has however been resumed and I will make very effort to ensure that the babes retain some item of clothing and that the babes themselves are “babes” and not a male facsimile of the same.

A conversation with a work colleague of my wife (who recently lost a parent and wanted to know about probate) has brought back the memory, 3 years ago, of my own fathers death. It is strange, but one of the things that (sounding overly theatrical) haunts me the most was the registering of the death itself. For anyone who has never done this (hopefully most people), it involves taking a copy of the hospital death certificate to the “births, marriages and deaths” office. The death is then officially registered.

In essence there is nothing unpleasant about this, but I left the small room where the act took place and realized that an entire life is summed up and unceremoniously registered as terminated in half a dozen minutes and as many questions. It is hard to explain, but it seemed almost demeaning and, in its own way, was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had.

The probate meeting, where the Will is resolved and confirmed (and which most have attended unnecessarily by a solicitor) was conducted in a totally different, dignified and compassionate manner. Just as well since my mother had to attend this one.

Here is today’s babe
