Called in at the dirty Morrisons supermarket again yesterday and no dead flies were in evidence – except those working behind the tills.

“Lost” is on TV tonight, one of the few programs I make an attempt to watch, although I know not why.

The publicity said this was the most expensive TV drama ever made. How did they come to that conclusion, where are the special effects, the cast of thousands and the brilliant cinematography. Frankly, I think we’ve all been “had” by the hype and spin.

I’m still coming to terms with the prospect of life continuing after the concerns of the last 3 weeks, but cannot help but wonder what it must be like for people who are told their results are positive. Two such people I used to know come to mind and both died within weeks of diagnosis – like me they felt fine until a random test picked something up. Its amazing how a small shadow on a transparent sheet of paper can be the difference between health and impending death.

On a brighter note, since I am healthy and still young(ish), there was a great pic of the lovely Keira Knightly that I spotted in one of the magazines my wife was reading yesterday. Just a face shot however, so it will be of no interest to this sites pornographic readers. (“face shot” was not a pun by the way).
