For me the jury is still out on Angelina Jolie, she is one of those women who has massive lips, an odd nose and a very square face. That said, the overall package is definitely greater than the sum of all its parts and she has two other things going for her.

Firstly the two Tomb Raider films in which she starred are both entertaining and good inoffensive viewing.

Secondly her father, John Voight, may over act and “ham it up” these days, but he was once one of the four leads in possibly the best suspense thriller ever made – Deliverance. If you have never seen this film, it is my personal recommendation, it is a truly iconic movie and will not disappoint.

I forgot to mention that I did watch the DVD “King Arthur” (with Keira Knightly) last weekend and despite her presence (which was missing from the first 40 minutes of the film) it was complete and utter rubbish. Keira was also “covered up” by baggy clothes and silly make-up and the film was even more historically inaccurate than Oliver Stone’s appalling “Alexander”. Definitely two movies to miss.
