A second chance for Liz!
Poor Liz Hurley got some bad feedback when I first featured her, but having seen her in Austin Powers again (it was on TV the other night), her legs really are fantastic. I have to admit her facial features are not 100%, and her acting is not exactly in Oscar country, but for light relief (no pun), she just the ticket. Here are a couple of pics, one from the aforementioned movie and another good one (I think).
Watched War of the Worlds last night on dvd, what a load of crap. If you are thinking of buying it, don’t waste your cash. Get Jeff Waynes incredible musical interpretation of the Orwell book on double CD instead. It was the 6th biggest selling album of the 1970’s decade in the UK and sounds as good today as it did then (when I was very young). For those of you who don’t know, the story is set in ENGLAND not the USA and the time period was the late 19th century. By the way, how come when jet fighters, helicopters and warheads attack the tripods they have no effect, but when Tom Cruise throws a grenade or attacks one with an axe, they fall to pieces . He really must be a God like figure – although a pocket sized one!
