Tony Blair + the Babe

My apologies for the scary picture of the Blair witch last week – it gave me nightmares.

Today good old Tony (Blair) is going to try and save his job with a multiple offensive on TV and with the Labour party members – they actually think he is accountable to them.

I suspect he will save the day, but hopefully not. That said the prospect of “passionate” about everything Tony being replaced by the grim reaper, Gordon Brown, is certainly nothing to get excited about. It is bad enough having your country destroyed by a laughing clown, but having the same thing happen under Darth Vader is no more of a cheering prospect, unless that is, Brown really does have a light saber!.

The interesting element of all this bickering in the Labour party is the possible implications for George Bush. He sees Tony as his biggest ally (and patsy) and the loss of his support would certainly not help his standing in the US with the Iraq problem still escalating. All interesting stuff, or then again maybe not.
